Why are more and more coaches allowing their players to bomb 3's from 25' within the regular flow of their "offenses?"
Ex: I'll use defending state champs as example. Langford bombing long 3's (when he's feeling it) I get, but he has a couple teammates doing the exact same thing. I call them "prayers unanswered."
It's not just New Albany and seems to be a trend in many of the games I go to. It's like the coaches decided, overnight, to not run offense and let the kids pass it around and shoot from as far out as possible.
It's gut-wrenching for me to watch and I was hoping our bright minds on here may be able to offer solutions to the coaches who get on here and know they're guilty of allowing this to happen.
It has to be the worst feeling as a player to watch a teammate bomb a 25'er and not even come close!
