LIBERTY, Ind. – It was clear from the outset that no one had forgotten.
Not the threat of inclement weather, or the passing of 50 years, has faded the memory of that sparkling season in this tradition-filled community.
Last Friday night, Union County High School honored the Liberty Lancer varsity boys basketball team of 1966-67 that advanced to semistate-in the era of single class high school basketball in Indiana.
