BIG news out of Lafayette this afternoon!
Lafayette Jeff Athletic Director Peyton Stovall has accepted a newly created position at Purdue University. He will be an Assistant Athletic Director in charge of student athlete development.
Peyton is a Lafayette Jeff grad, was an Indiana All Star in basketball before heading to Ball State where he scored over 1300 points for the Cardinals.
Previous to his six year stint as Lafayette Jeff AD, he was the AD at Evansville North.
Since I will be "working" for Peyton tonight at the Lafayette Jeff Boys Track Regional, I will say my congratulations to him in person!
