Knox boys basketball coach Mark Victor has officially resigned as of March 31. Victor was 4-41 in two seasons at Knox. He will remain at the school as a middle school art teacher. Biggest problem, the Redskins just did not have the talent to win on a regular basis. In both seasons, the team lost several close games. Interesting note is that fellow former Logansport coach Hoover (girls program) was talking to me at the state finals about how Victor was a very good coach and would turn the Knox program around if he was given enough time. Possible frontrunner for the job might veteran assistant coach Rob Krueger, a former Redskin himself. He was the possible coach two seasons ago before Victor's name came in to the picture.
