1999 Mr. Basketball and IUPUI men's basketball head coach Jason Gardner was arrested early Sunday morning for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Gardner has resigned his position at IUPUI.

The 2019-20 season looks to be an uphill climb for the Jaguars. Their roster currently lists only eight players, six juniors (including two transfers) and two sophomores. Losing their head coach two months before the season begins won't help. Probably not winning the Horizon League this year. Ouch.
