With just two games played in the 2016-17 season Indian Wesleyan Coach Steve Brooks has resigned his position after 17 seasons with a 468-132 record and 2 NAIA II national championships in 2007 & 2013. The paper did not list an interim coach. No reason was given for the resignation, but coach did have heart surgery in 2014. Coach led his teams to 14 straight post-season NAIA tourneys and had a remarkable 100% graduation rate. Good luck coach, you will be missed.
