[On one hand, he was given reins to a program he helped guide to a 50-23 mark the past three seasons as an assistant under his good friend Andrew Grantz, who on the other hand resigned after three years at the helm just prior to Murawski accepting his new role.
“The last three jobs that I had, I was excited,” Murawski said, “when I took over, and I’m excited about taking this job over, very excited, but when I received the job was when Andrew resigned. He resigned and I took the job all in the same moment. So it was a very tough transition. I’m excited for Andrew. … I’m also excited to get a chance to continue my career.”]
