I know this is mainly a basketball site but to me this situation is more about sportsmanship and class.
I have been coaching football and basketball for over 25 years. Here was the situation we took are c team
mainly freshman and played another teams Jv thats all good. But at the end of the game we are up 28 to 22 they onside kick we get the ball, and tell the officials we are going to be taking a knee to just run out the clock. The official said ok they would inform the other team. He came back to us and said the other teams head coach said they didn't care the were going to blast us when the ball is snapped. I have been on both sides you have to win with class and lose with class . To me this was not I always had alot of respect for this coach but after this weekend no more.
