His son Brook Hoslyn helped us at Central Catholic for a time before his car accident. Brook was paralyaed and eventually passed away.
Dave was a National High School Sports columnists before there was really such a thing. He contributed to several national publocations and was the long time USA TODAY sports reporter responsible for the Super 25 Rankings that I believe are still used today in that publication.
Dave was a life long Hoosier growing up in Elkhart, graduating from IU, and spending most of his working career in LaPorte.
