Last week's season high of six different teams being picked was surpassed in Week 8, with seven of our nine teams being chosen by our contestants. Three teams were selected by four players each. Among them, Delta had the largest margin of victory as the Eagles soared over the Greenfield-Central Cougars by a 77-0 score. Gibson Southern, North Vermillion, and South Adams also recorded shutout wins. Some of our contestants lost points in this round as a result of Columbus North's 20 point loss to the Bloomington North Cougars. Mishawaka Marian's loss to the Mishawaka Cavemen leaves South Adams and Valparaiso as the only undefeated teams in our contest.
Heading into the final week of the season, hhsdawg continues to be first on our leaderboard with 440 points, followed by Kdoades with 418. Rob Deweese improved from sixth to third with 397 points, and ysuindy also moved up three spots to fourth with 394. Ranger 20 dropped two positions and Nick Jenkinson advanced four positions, resulting in a tie for fifth at 377 points.
