In the middle week of the season our contestants picked a very diverse set of teams, with none of the five selected being picked by more than four players. The largest margin of victory belonged to the 5A #12 Harrison (West Lafayette) Raiders in their 52-12 win over the Anderson Indians. 4A #11 Evansville Memorial was the most popular pick, and the Tigers outscored the Evansville Harrison Warriors by 27 points for their third consecutive win. The 4A #5 New Prairie Cougars and the 1A #5 North Decatur Chargers are the only teams in our contest which remain undefeated after Week 5. 2A #5 Eastbrook, 2A #13 Perry Central, and Lawrence North all found themselves on the wrong end of the score in this round.
We have a change at the top of our standings for the first time since Week 2! Raiderfan32 and EHS_HOOPS moved into a tie for first place with 216 points, followed by ysuindy in third with 209. Our top five is completed by Ed Stachulak and Ranger20, both with 197 points. Four games remain to be played in our contest!

Predictions for the tiebreaker must be submitted no later than Sep. 23 at 6:00 pm ET. If you fail to send in a tiebreaker prediction and you end up in a tie with a player who did send one, the other player will be ranked ahead of you in the final standings. Less than half of our contestants have submitted a tiebreaker prediction, so be sure to get them in this week!
