There was not much difference of opinion among our players this week, as they picked only two teams. The most popular pick was the Southridge Raiders, who plundered the Pike Central Chargers for a 58 point shutout victory. The second choice of our contestants was the 5A #14 Castle Knights, who handed the Evansville Harrison Warriors their fourth loss by a score of 42-7. Three of our teams were on the losing end of the score in Week 4, with Eastern Hancock suffering their first defeat. 4A #9 Indianapolis Chatard, perhaps the Indiana team with the most deceiving record, lost to 5A #1 Indianapolis Cathedral to fall to 0-4. COVID-19 related issues affected two of our teams this week, with Parke Heritage playing the Tuscola (Ill.) Warriors to replace their cancelled game with Attica, and Fort Wayne Snider not playing after the cancellation of their game with Fort Wayne South.
The lack of diversity in picks by our contestants this week resulted in little movement in the standings, and no changes in the top five. ysuindy is still in first place with 165 points, followed by Nick Jenkinson with 145. hhsdawg remains in third with 138 points, Ranger 20 in fourth with 134, and Rob Deweese in fifth place with 128 points. Hard to believe it's nearly here, but next week will mark the middle game of the season!
