Our contestants left no doubt about their favorite team in Week 3, as 10 of them selected Perry Central as their pick. The Commodores rewarded them well in cruising to a 62-point shutout of the Crawford County Wolfpack for this round's largest margin of victory. 1A #8 North Decatur was chosen by one player, and they continued their impressive season with a win over the 1A #6 Monroe Central Golden Bears. The Chargers are absolutely dominating their opponents, holding all three of them scoreless and scoring at least 40 points in each of their games. The Evansville Memorial Tigers recorded their first victory of the season with a 21-0 decision over the Evansville Central Bears. Three of our teams suffered defeats in Week 3: 5A #19 Bloomington North (lost to 5A #14 Terre Haute South), 6A #17 Lawrence North (lost to unranked rival Lawrence Central), and 2A #2 Eastbrook (lost to 3A #13 Oak Hill).
The top four spots on our leaderboard remain the same this week, with ysuindy on top with 140 points and a three-way tie for second between Ed Stachulak, EHS_HOOPS, and Raiderfan32, each with 138. Ranger20 moved from seventh to fifth to round out our top five with 128 points. Several contestants further down in the standings made gains in this round and may be contenders for the top five before long.
