As in the previous round, our contestants spread their picks over five different teams this week. The most popular selection was the 4A #10 Delta Eagles, who soared over the Shelbyville Golden Bears by the shocking score of 85-0. Six of our teams recorded shutout wins in Week 3, and the eight teams which won their games all posted winning margins of 31 points or more. The only team from our list to suffer defeat in this round was Columbus North, who lost a 10-7 nail-biter when Southport recovered a fumble by the Bull Dogs in overtime and subsequently kicked a 19 yard field goal to give the Cardinals the win.
We have a bit more separation in our standings after the Week 3 games, but there is still a tie for first place with hhsdawg and Rockman both totaling 192 points. There is also a four way tie for third between Brett Deckard, Ed Stachulak, Kdoades, and thegorilla23, all with 177. One third of the season is now complete. Week 4 is up next!
