1A #9 North Decatur was the most popular pick among our players in Week 1, and the Chargers did not disappoint in their 57-point shutout of rival South Decatur. The 4A #11 New Prairie Cougars had the next highest margin of victory in their 35-0 win over the LaPorte Slicers. Three of our teams suffered defeats this week, with 5A #13 Bloomington North getting the worst of it in their 25-point loss to the 4A #5 Mooresville Pioneers. Fortunately, none of our contestants picked any of the teams which found themselves on the wrong end of the score.
With seven of our players having picked North Decatur, we have a logjam at the top of our leaderboard. Ed Stachulak, EHS_HOOPS, hhsdawg, Mr. B.A., Raiderfan32, Ranger20, and ysuindy all share the lead with 57 points apiece. Rob Deweese and TheGorilla23 trail them with 35 each.
