Lawrence Central girls – Departing Antoine Wynne
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – (Updated 2/14) Coach Wynne will not be returning after four seasons (41-47) with the Bears. This past season LC went 12-11, and while they Bears lose two contributing seniors, a good Varsity Club member reports a lot of optimism over underclassmen that learned the hard way this season. The list starts with 6-1 soph-2-b Jaylah Lampley. 16 ppg and 6 rpg was a whale of a season for the varsity frosh, and report indicates several underclass pieces to go with. LC may still be a year away from making some noise, but reports indicate this is a solid position. Assistant lay Coach Jannon Lampley (yes, that Lampley) is reportedly the wildcard. Anticipated teaching openings include Eled, MS ELA, MS Math, MS PE, MS Sci, MS SS, HS Sci, HS guidance. Much more expected.
