Greencastle girls – Departing Coach Kellie Kirkhoff
GREENCASTLE, Ind. – (Updated 5/25) Coach Kirkhoff leaves Greencastle to take over at Whiteland after two years at Tiger Cubs. Last season Greencastle finished 10-11. Good Varsity Clubber reports graduation will take over 50% of their scoring, and this form a team that struggled getting to 40ppg. Srs-2-b guards 5-5 Raigan Chavez and 5-6 Anna Zellers should bring back some experienced backcourt players, but neither are considered true scorers. Report also points to two sophs-2-b that gained considerable varsity time last year. However, neither are world beaters at this time. 5-4 guard Evelyn Briones and 6-0 forward Madi Plew both will likely have to play larger roles next season, but report indicates nether was good for more than a couple of buckets a night. Mixed reports on middle school teams, Coach Kirkhoff’s HS Math is expected to be on the table. Also HS PE/Health, HS Spanish, MS Music, HS Chemistry.
