Westville girls - Departing Coach Grayce Roach
WESTVILLE, Ind. -- (Updated 5/17) Coach Roach will not be returning for a third season at Westville. Last season the Blackhawks went 12-11, and good Varsity Club member emails they graduate an All-PCC senior point guard. However, there are several intriguing underclassmen expected back. Three returning starters including athletic 6-0 soph-2-b Andrea (Andi) Benefield who did significant damage as a freshman varsity post. Jr-2-b 5-6 guard Loreli Mallon and 5-8 sr-2-b guard Maddie Stark round out the trio. That challenge will be to find quality point guard play as neither of the aforementioned guards served that role last season. Westville enjoys membership in the very rich Porter County Conference, with all its outstanding traditions etc. Stipend is $6400 Current teaching gigs: HS Math, HS Ag, MS English, and Eled
