Westville, boys – Departing Coach Nate Mrozinski
Westville, Ind. – (Updated 3/29) Westville Coach Nate Mrozinski was told his contract would not be renewed during his end of season evaluation with AD Josh Goeringer. Coach was 59-38 during his four seasons there including a 17-9 season last year and a Sectional final loss to Gary 21st Century. Good Varsity Club member points out that each of Westville’s Sectional losses the last four years has come to wither Gary 21st (3) or Marquette Catholic (1). Soooo hmmmmm. The next coach will be without the services of two big senior guns that graduate. One leaves with an 18 ppg average and the other with 22 ppg. Most interior play and rebounding departs as well. JV is reported as typical Porter County Conference ability – Maybe slightly below. Varsity Club member reports new Coach will likely have similar expectations as predecessor but without the players to get it done. High school math open at this time.
