Western girls – Departing Coach Kyle Sage
Russiaville, Ind. – (Updated 6/24) Now official that Coach Sage has resigned after two seasons (13-33) with the Panthers. He had previously gone 99-66 at Tri-Central. Good Varsity Club member reports only one senior graduates from last year’s 11-12 team. However, she was the only player to average double figures (12pp.) Report also indicates there is some optimism over current roster as eight players are expected back that logged considerable varsity time last season. No world beaters for sure, but the bulk of these contributors were frosh and soph last season so besting .500 this year is very possible given their schedule. Current openings include HS Ag, MS social studies, and MS Art. JV surprisingly competitive given how many younger players were rostered varsity. Unconfirmed reports JV Coach Kristen Cole in the mix.
