Western boys – Departing Coach Bart Miller
(Updated 3/27) – The Kokomo Trib is reporting that Coach Miller will be stepping down after five seasons (49-65) with the Panthers. Last year’s squad went 4-19 including a brutal 16 game skid to open the season. However, the Panthers did rally and go 4-3 over last seven games. Good Varsity Club member reports only 15 ppg returns, and half of that is 5-10 sr-2-b guard Cooper O’Neal’s 7 ppg. After that it’s handful of role players that tossed in a bucket or so a game. Rebounding about same story although Varsity Club member does state there is some unproven height moving up.
