Wes-Del boys - Departing Coach John McGlothin
GASTON, Ind. -- (Updated 3/27) Now official that Coach McGlothin has resigned after eleven seasons. Coach had become fixture with the Warrior program. Varsity CLubber emails that the Warriors return all but 10ppg from last season’s 9-13 team. No less than 6 underclassmen played significant varsity time including leading scorer (17ppg) in 5-11 jr-2-b guard Josiah Love. A couple of other underclassmen capable of scoring double digits return as well. All-in-all the Warriors are on paper to improve their won/loss record in a big way. Varsity Clubber reports JV was average or just below. 8th grade and 7th grade both described as competitive. Zero teaching positions available at this time. Some internal interest expected.
