Wawasee girls – Departing Coach Kem Zolman
Updated 1/9 Now official that Coach Kem Zolman is retiring after 18 years. Coach went 243-166 during his time with the Warriors. Most recently Wawasee went 8-15. Varsity Clubber reports that next year’s roster will be minus graduating senior Kylee Rostochak and her 15 ppg. Odds are that Wawasee will feel the hit as they failed to hit 40 points in 13 different games. 6-0 sr-2-b post expected back in Aubrey Schmeltz. She’s arguably the best of the returnees at 7 ppg and 6 rpg, but not much else coming back. Guard play could really be an issue. Not much help expected from a below average JV squad either. Early word of internal interest, but no name yet.
