Wapahani girls – Departing Coach Brad Cutter

Selma, Ind. – (Updated 5/2) Good Varsity Club member reports Wapahani returns 6 of their 7 top scorers next season from a 14-9 team. They only lose one senior, 5'10 Annie Schuck (11.1ppg), who was leading scorer and relied on inside. They will be led heavily next year by senior class, including third-year letterwinners: athletic 5'10 forward Sydney Cook (5.6ppg, 7.9rpg), 5'9 post player Dayten Lee (8.0ppg,5.4rpg), and 5'5 guard Carlie Boggs (5.9ppg). Senior-to-be 5'8 guard Mauranda Racer (7.5ppg) started every game last season. Senior-to-be 5'6 guard Taylor Johns (4.3ppg) played a key role off the bench for the Lady Raiders. Sophomore-to-be 5'5 guard Madison Thompson (7.1ppg) ran the point last year but only played in 13 games. Juniors-to-be 5'7 guard Lexi Wulff and 5'6 forward Lexi Humbert also lettered last season for the Lady Raiders. Sophomore-to-be 5'10 post player Lexi Morrow will look to contribute at the varsity level in some role this coming year after playing in 14 games last year, most during mop up time. Couple other players in the incoming sophomore class that could push for time. MS programs were successful. In a competitive sectional with Elwood, Frankton, Lapel, Monroe Central, and Sheridan. Administration is great to work for. MS/HS Health teaching opening.
