Cascade boys - Departing Coach Chris DuBois
CLAYTON, Ind. -- (Updated 3/19) Coach DuBois has resigned after 17 seasons leading the Cadets. Last season Cascade was 5-16, and Varsity Clubber close to the program reports seven seniors leaving along with just about all varsity experience. A whopping 15 ppg and 3 rpg return. Yeah, it’s that bad. It will be a virtual blank slate as far as varsity roster goes, however, there is a glimmer of hope from a 16-4 JV squad. Nobody is going to go for 20 a night, but report indicates there is enough there to field a squad that should be capable of besting last year’s 5 win mark. Some height reported in the program in the form of a trio of 6-4’s. 8th great not that great. 7th described as competitive. Nice mix of bog/small schools on the schedule. Cadets members of Indiana Crossroads Conference: Lutheran, Ritter, Beech Grove, Triton Central, Speedway, Scecina, and Monrovia. MS Sped only opening now, but plenty expected as weather gets warmer.
