North Put girls – North Put job is officially listed as open. However, there is some info indicating that it is listed because Coach Kevin Corsaro is a lay coach. That being said, Varsity Clubber indicates that if a teacher is found, then it will indeed be filled. There is reportedly a good probability of teaching positions being available. Good Varsity Club member reports they are going to be basketball challenged. Last year’s NP squad went just 3-20 and winless in conference. They graduated most of their scoring and have some height, little speed, and not much from JV. No returner averaged even 6 ppg. Top was a little over 5 and same player averaged 6 turnovers per contest. They did have an OK 8th grade team, but still not good enough to win Putnam County Tourney. They are in a good sectional as far as competition. No real power house and no privates at least until reclassification.
