South Ripley boys - Departing Coach Tyler Theising
VERSAILLES, Ind. -- (Updated 4/20) Can now confirm SR is officially open. Coach Theising was 58-36 during four seasons with the Raiders. Last season South Ripley was 13-11 and lost Sectional title game to Triton Central, 40-35. Six seniors set to graduate from last year’s roster. Varsity Club member reports it will be a “from the ground up” rebuild. Last year’s JV team reported as below average. Last year’s 8th grade likewise as well. A few year’s off, but 7th grade group reported as pretty decent. South Rip is a member of the Ohio River Valley Conference: Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, Rising Sun, Shawe, Southwestern, and Switzerland Co. Intvs to begin 5/2. Openings include: HS SS, HS/MS PE, several Eled, HS Chemistry, HS Ag-Business. Varsity Clubber reports several more openings expected. Internal interest reported.
