Clay City boys – Departing Coach Vance Edmondson
Clay City, Ind. – (Updated 5/8) Can now confirm Coach Edmondson has resigned after nine seasons, 108 wins, four Sectionals, and two Regionals with the Eels. Varsity Clubber reports two seniors graduate from last year’s 7-18 team. However, those two account for virtually all the height in the program. No player stands taller than 6-0. This from a team that struggled to rebound all season with their two 6-2 and 6-3 seniors on the floor. Scoring will also be a challenge. Varsity Club report states no player can be relied upon to reach double figures consistently especially against better teams. JV is reported as below average. HS Business, English, and PE. MS Science and Eled also open.
