St. Joe girls – (Updated 2/23) Now official that Coach Ric Mauch has resigned after leading the Indians for six seasons (97-41.) Coach has been part of St. basketball in one capacity or another for 14 seasons. Most recently St. Joe went 25-2 including a 15 game winning streak that ended with a Semi-state loss to Heritage Christian (By 20 points no less) The Indians lose five seniors, but good Varsity Club member reports that the bulk of their scoring and ball handling return as do their best defenders and most of their board work. With the present make-up of the tourney, programs like St. Joe are the formula-1’s of our world, and this one is good to go right now. No surprise that there is already some early word of internal interest.
