Springs Valley boys – Good Varsity Club member confirms Springs Valley School Board did not renew Rick Scholl’s contract after his two seasons (17-29) with the Blackhawks. Varsity Clubber goes on to report Valley will have some athletes back, but lose some size. With their schedule and Sectional, they could contend. They will have O'Brien Selby back and a few others, but they do lose Hector inside as well as a PG. The JHigh was fairly sound and the Sixth grade is loaded (if new coach last that long – Springs Valley school board has proven it has a short leash.)
