South Ripley boys – Departing Coach Travis Wrightsman
Versailles, Ind. – (Updated 5/14) Coach Travis Wrightsman resigns after 10 years to take a position in Missouri. The Raiders won 133 games, 3 sectionals, and 6 ORVC conference titles during his tenure. Good Varsity Club member reports the Raiders this year were 7-17 and return only 14 points a game back. On a good note the Raiders return a lot of youth who got valuable playing time last year. 2 starters return who will both be sophomores in 6'0 Cody Samples (6pg), 6'3 Bryce Franklin (4pg). Other returning letterman include: 6'2 Sophomore Brady Linkel, and 3 juniors to be in 6'1 Aaron Greiwe, 6'2 Sam Evans, and 6'1 Eric Vickers. PE position is open at this time.
