Owen Valley boys – Coach Chad Smith has resigned after six seasons with the Patriots. OV went 68-75 during that span. Most recently Owen valley went 14-11, and Varsity Clubber indicates they graduate 6 from last year’s roster. Some decent height to return 6-7, 6-2, 6-2. Varsity Clubber states that Owen Valley schedule is tailor made to finish .500 or better. Last year 3A OV feasted on 15 1A and 2A squads. The 12 member Western Indiana Conference is split into Eastern and Western divisions, and Patriots find themselves in Eastern with 3 2A squads. Edgewood and Brown County are the two 3A. OV enjoys a decent following, that typical of most programs, swells during a successful season.
