South Central girls - Departing Coach Ben Anderson
UNION MILLS, Ind. -- (Updated 4/1) Coach Anderson’s job is listed as open after three largely successful seasons at SC. Last season’s 16-7 squad fell short of a Sectional title, but his two previous squad made it to Regionals. Good Varsity Club member reports that from last year’s roster two senior leaders graduate. Problematic in that they were extremely important to just about everything the Satellites accomplished last year. Four other letter winners should return including three jrs-2-b that should make-up the core of varsity for next two seasons. According to report all are capable of holding their own, but gone is the punch of a big scorer unless one develops. Looking down the line, Varsity Clubber reports 8th grade as really limited, 7th grade conference runners-up, and 6th as competitive. Some internal interest expected. MS SS and ELED Music are only teaching jobs open for next fall.
