SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- (Updated 4/15) Coach Burris departs to take over the girls program at Rochester. Last season the Titans were 15-8, but good Varsity Club member indicates much of what drove that successful season is getting a diploma. Three seniors and 25+ ppg graduate along with virtually all rebounding. 5-8 sr-2-b guard Josh Rose (8ppg) is expected back along with fellow backcourt mite 5-8 jr-2-b Jacob Palmer (9ppg.) 6-5 sr-2-b Gabe Hunsberger should return some size inside, but only brought a bucket and a couple of rbs each outing last go round. No teaching areas open at this time - Very small faculty. However, Trinity likely looking at a lay coach. Varsity Clubber adds that a schedule of nearly half non-IHSAA schools should yield decent W-L regular season success again. Last year was Trinity’s first IHSAA tourney. Hoosier Plains Conference: SB Career Academy, Bethany Christian, Argos, Elkhart Christian, and Lakeland Christian.
