Purdue Polytech boys - Departing Coach David Teague
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- (Updated 4/22)
This downtown Indy program is in their 5th year as a school and are eligible for full IHSAA tournament play the 2022-2023 school year. Current enrollment is around 550 students. Not to be confused with two other similarly named campuses - North campus in Broad Ripple and South Bend, this one is on Washington St. Last year the Techies (yep) finished 11-15. (5-13 vs. IHSAA member schools) Varsity Clubber familiar with the program (I am most certainly not) thankfully reports pretty much the whole enchilada is expected back. Whether or not that translates to increased success at the IHSAA member level remains to be seen, but report does point to a solid 6-0 sr-2-be guard, Ju’Shaun Primus (15ppg, 8rpg, 5apg, 4spg) We have all seen crazy numbers put up in less than varsity level scheduling, but all indications are that this guy is the real deal. No head toppers in the program at this point. A handful of 6-2’s are it. Still, if their schedule remains similar a .500+ record is a reachable goal. $4000 stipend HS SS and HS ELL positions available.
