Fountain Central Girls – Departing Coach Jason Good
VEEDERSBURG, Ind. – (Updated 3/16) Word now that Coach Good will not be returning after two seasons leading the girls program (13-7) (8-14.) Good Varsity Club member reports 3 seniors depart including both leading scorers. Neither lit it up (about 7ppg) but there was not a ton of offense to being with. Varsity Clubber does point to a pair of sophs-2-b that played quite a bit last year as frosh. Hannah Prickett and Brailey Hoagland each saw a lot of action, had a handful of decent games, but were plagued with turnovers etc as young players. Their development along with other underclassmen will be a must if Mustangs are to avoid a disastrous season next go round. JV is described as offensively challenged. Looking way ahead, 7th grade group and 5th grade groups are considered pretty strong. FC is a member of the Wabash River Conference (Attica, Covington, North Vermillion, Parke Heritage, Riverton Parke, Seeger, and South Vermillion) and is currently assigned to 2A Sectional with Sheridan, Rossville, Seeger, and Clinton Prairie. No teaching openings at this time.
