Perry Meridian girls – Departing Coach Mike Armstrong
Indianapolis, Ind. – Good Varsity Club member reports Mike Armstrong from Perry Meridian is retiring from coaching, and I'm told they already looking at early front runner Katie Fisher from Chatard. Coach Armstrong has been with the PM program for 34 years winning over 400 games. Last year's Falcon squad was 7-7 at New Year's but lost the last 9 games of the season. PM expected to lose only one senior to graduation. High school math opening and several Eled positions confirmed. Perry will be taking applications. Another good Varsity Club member reports this to be more of a 'stepping down' than an actual retirement, as Coach my be open to leading another program if situation is right.
