LEOPOLD, Ind. – (Updated 3/11) Multiple reports all pointing to alleged problem parents here. Leading with that because in all likelihood this may be the same obstacle for incoming coach. Last season the Commodores were 14-10 and dropped a two point decision to EV Mater Dei in Sectional Semis. Varsity Club member reports a solid team, tough to beat, but not what you would call great. “Last year’s team was good enough to win Sectional, but it would’ve taken several breaks and shots to fall that just didn’t.” Reportedly some of the dynamics depart (five seniors) by graduation, but not all issues are “out the pipe” yet. God, I love this report.. Additionally Varsity Club member offers-up that all feeder level teams are competitive, but the 7th grade is destroying teams and is looked to by many as potentially a special group. Long way down the line there, but worth keeping an eye on. VA lay Coach Noah Hawkins mentioned for probable interest. No teaching jobs at this time.
