Hobart girls - Departing Coach Tim Feddeler
HOBART, Ind -- (Updated 5/20) Although Hobart finished a game below .500 last go round, there is a sense of optimism for program and incoming coach. Of the seven girls that saw most of the varsity time last season, a good Varsity Club member reports only one senior leaves. Of the six returning, hands-down the leader is 5-9 sr-2-b guard Asia Donald. She went for a cool 24ppg and 10rpg last season. Also active on the defensive end. Report continues stating the bulk of the other returnees played varsity last season as frosh and sophs. Northwest Crossroads Conference (Andrean, Munster, Lowell, KV, and Highland) has been rough going for the Brickies - Last year finishing just 1-5. Varsity Club member report that is likely to improve, along with non-conference win totals. Current Sectional is a tough one: Chesterton, Valpo, Portage, Lowell, KV, and Crown Point. More info coming on feeder teams. HS Math and HS ELA only jobs available at this time. $7000 stipend. Varsity Clubber reports potential internal interest, but staff members are younger. Questions if admin will go with one of them or look for experience outside of program.
