North Central boys - Departing Coach Jason Gardner
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- (Updated 6/28) Coach Gardner departs to take a position in the college ranks at Arizona after just one season with the Panthers, 13-10. Multiple reports that sr-2-b PG Leland Walker will not be in uniform for NC next season as he will be playing for a prep school. Several holdovers should keep NC competitive, but the Panthers routinely play one of the most difficult schedules in the state. The MIC is arguably the toughest conference top to bottom, and one could make the case that Sectional 10 is meat grinder number one with Warren Central, Lawrence North, Lawrence CEntral, Attucks, Cathedral, and Tech. Not unusual to see North Central loaded with talent yet fight for .500. JV only lost three games last season. HS Career Center position, HS Math, MS Sped, MS Social Studies, 10+ Eled jobs.
