Munster girls – Departing Coach Jim Davidson
MUNSTER, Ind. – (Updated 3/3) Now official Coach Davidson (121-106) will not be returning for a tenth seasons with the Mustangs. Last season Munster finished 6-12, their worst finish in several seasons. At the end of the calendar year Munster stood at 6-6, but 2022 was a winless 0-6 streak including a 1-point first round Sectional loss to Gary West. Munster is a member of the Northwest Crossroads Conference: Andrean, highland, KV, Lowell, and Hobart. Good Varsity Club member familiar with the program reports new coach will likely inherit a roster that is short on scorers, but should return five underclassmen that logged substantial varsity time last year. Arguably the best among the returners in 5-9 sr-2-b post Akoama Odeluga (10ppg) (12rpg!) report indicates winning JV team. One report of internal interest – Rachel Bell VA and Alex Bank JV.
