Shoals girls – Word today that this one is open. Coach Tim Sanders will not be back after two seasons (9-36) with a very limited talent pool. Good Varsity Club member reports extremely lean times for the Jug Rox with only 7 girls last year in the HS program. That squad went 6-16 and loses 3 seniors. Reportedly had to play 7th graders on 8th grade to have enough to even field a team.
