Central Noble girls - Departing Coach Josh Treesh
ALBION, Ind. -- (Updated 6/8) Coach Treesh has resigned after 12 seasons at Central Noble citing wanting to spend more time with family. Coach put together a remarkable record during his tenure there, going 169-96. Good Varsity Club member reports last season’s Cougars were 13-9, but they lose just one senior. 5-4 sr-2-b PG Madi Vice is expected to return as a four-year starter next fall to lead the way, but a solid team is expected around her. CN was already successful in their Northeast Indiana Conference last season, going 7-3. JV described as decent. 8th grade below .500, but good player moving up. Report continues with no world-beaters on 7th grade squad but competitive team. Some word of internal interest. Possible names include Abbey Mault - current assistant and art teacher at CN and Doug Bolen - current MS Coach and father of soph-2-b. If CN looks outside, they have HS PE, HS Social Studies, and HS Sped to work with.
