Snider girls - Departing Coach Akilah Simms
FT. WAYNE, Ind. -- (Updated 6/10) After two winning seasons, Coach Simms will not be returning to the Panthers’ sideline. Last year was a good one for Snider as they finished 20-4 and Regional runner-up. While their leading scorer graduates along with several senior role players, good Varsity Club member reports hopes are high based on a stellar jr-2-b class which includes four of last year’s starters. Not a ton of height beyond 5-9’s, but no shortage of athletes, defense, and ball handling. This could be a very solid roster for the next few years. Many, many Eled and MS teaching positions. Not really the case with Snider, but Varsity Clubber reports not hopeless.
