Manchester girls - Departing Coach Josh Troyer
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- (Updated 8/11) Coach Josh Troyer has resigned to accept an assistant principal job in Huntington. Last year’s Squires finished 12-13, and a good Varsity Club member reports that the vast majority of varsity leaders left last May. 5-8 sr-2-b frontliner Makenzy Meyer is expected back, and she is arguably the best of the returners (7ppg, 6rpg) Classmate Ainsley West (6ppg) also brings varsity experience. Beyond that, it will be fielding a team of mostly JV kiddos moving up. No world beaters suiting-up next season. Report goes on that .500 would be a very lofty goal for incoming coach this first season. HS Health/PE, HS Counselor, and several Eled positions. Some internal interest reported, and at this late date, Varsity Clubber nods in that direction unless something big happens.
