Lakewood Park girls – Departing Coach Amy Bartowiak
AUBURN, Ind. – (Updated 4/29) Now being reported that LPCS girls Coach Bartowiak will not be back after five seasons with the Panthers. Last season Lakewood finished 12-8, and by and large, competed with just about every team on their schedule. (Just a 30 point lashing by Luers withstanding.) Several seniors leave from that team, chief among them was 20ppg 9rpg 6apg 4spg PG Chloe Jolloff. Good Varsity Club member report she will be missed in many ways, as she did so much last season for the Panthers. Three varsity frosh saw extended time last year which should bode well for the future. The immediate issue will be manufacturing some points from a squad that isn’t expected to return any double digit scorers.
