Logansport boys - Departing Coach Sherron Wilkerson
LOGANSPORT, Ind. -- (Updated 5/24) Coach Wilkerson returns to Jeffersonville after one season leading Logan. The Berries had a tough way to go last season, finishing just 3-19. Varsity Clubber reports Logan is expected to return three contributing letterwinners from last year’s undermanned squad. Report points to two jrs-2-b for some optimism. 6-4 Jacob Taylor went for 10ppg and 5rpg last year and 5-10 Isaac Russell 9ppg played significant varsity minutes as sophs last year. Additional height comes in the form of a couple of 6-5 srs-2-b. Amare Summers and Preston Schlick are both pretty much unproven at the varsity level. JV described simply as terrible. Varsity Club member reports current teaching openings as HS Science, Eled, HS Math, HS SS, and two MS Math.
