South Putnam boys - Departing Coach Matt Pickerill
GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- (Updated 5/17) Coach Picker leaves to take over the Milan boys program after one season (5-19) at South Put. Very little on this one so far. Varsity Clubber reports four seniors graduate. Decent jr-2-b PG in Drew Hill expected back. Looking ahead, not much help coming from a 3-win JV team and 3-win 8th grade. However, 7th was 13-2 and won county championship. South Put is a member of the Western Indiana Conference. Finished 1-9 in WIC last season: West Vigo, Sullivan, Brown County, Cloverdale, Edgewood, Indian Creek, Greencastle, Sullivan, Owen Valley, North Putnam, and Northview. Limited job openings at this time. A few more expected.
