Heritage boys - (Updated 4/15) Coach Brad Kiess will reportedly not be returning for Heritage next season. The Patriots were 34-55 during his four years at the 3A school. Three of those years, Heritage finished 9-14 including last go-round. From that roster, good varsity Club member reports a ton departing as seniors. No less than seven suited up for them last year. Included in that lost batch are their two leading scorers, leading rebounder, and best PG. One hold over that should help mightily next year is 6-5 sr-2-b F Jack Jacquay. His 7 ppg and 5 rpg will be duly needed. 6-2 classmate Billy Lomow added 7 and 4, and will also likely be cast as leader next year. Serviceable backcourt play will be a little tougher to find. Varsity Clubber reports ball handling can be "adventurous" at times with this roster. Not a ton of help expected from JV roster. Report also indicates some teaching openings anticipated.
