Greencastle girls – Departing Coach Tod Windlan
Greencastle, Ind. – (Updated 5/15) Coach Windlan departs to take over at Connersville. Tiger Cubs were 14-8 during his one season there. Good Varsity Club member comments that usually losing five seniors is recipe for a rebuild, and that will be partially the case at Greencastle. However, some of the best players last season were underclassmen and are set to return. 6-0 sr-2-b frontliner Ali Stevens led the team in scoring and rebounding last year, and will most likely do so again next year. 5-10 jr-2-b Ella Shields also a proven varsity commodity. Back court will be where the graduates are missed the most. Finding quality ball handling for this group will be the challenge. 5-6 soph-2-b Mia Shields played guard as a varsity frosh, but was not asked to carry the point guard duties. Above average JV.
